Life Lately

Say a little prayer for me…We are leaving for Disney tomorrow!! The excitement is palpable in this household! I used to roll my eyes at Disney trips, but I have to admit…I’m excited for the girls’ excitement.

Vida is already pointing to the Epcot ball and saying “Anna” because I told her that’s where Anna and Else live. She wears her Anna princess dress almost every day at home. We also promised them ice cream every day, and honestly I don’t know if they’re more excited for that over seeing all the characters LOL.

I really used to despise Disney clothes on children, but I have succumbed to the girls’ joy once again, and now I’m a fan! They’ve been wearing their Disney sweatshirts almost every day (in rotation with the dresses) and I even went to Kohl’s to buy more t-shirts. We’re only going to the parks for 2 days, but toddlers are dirty AF and need lots of changes.

Alongside  tackling your high-interest debt , this step is a foundational step to building your wealth. If you don’t have a game plan for these first two steps, you’ll never get to the fun and most impactful step of Investing.

Think of it as a pyramid, and the thick bottom step consists of prioritizing your debt and building a suitable Emergency Fund.

Keep a lookout for my Money Date Worksheet that will be released on Galentine’s Day, February 13th! This worksheet will help you get clarity on where you are today. You can’t improve until you know your weak spots!

What I’m Cooking & Watching

I haven’t had much time for cooking and baking lately, but I did manage to make this lasagna last Sunday, and we’ve been nibbling on it all week. We may even have some left over to freeze before we leave for Orlando!

This lasagna recipe was shockingly simple , especially if you have the oven-ready lasagna noodles already on hand.

I am still on a documentary roll, and I’ve watched This Is Paris on YouTube, which is a look at the real Paris Hilton and I am shook. All I will say is the Paris we all think we know isn’t actually real. Also, Kathy Hilton has gotten even lower in my Housewife ranking.

I also just finished The Mosted Hated Man on the Internet, and OMG now I have an irrational fear of being hacked and exploited online. This guy really sucks and Charlotte Laws is my new idol and hero!

Hope you enjoy these ramblings & hope to see you in my  free class  on March 1st! 🙂

P.S. I actually influenced myself and bought another pair of  Amazon LuLu Lemon knockoffs ! Don’t sleep on these.
